Blind Item #3

This foreign born A- list mostly movie actor who is an Academy Award winner/nominee wore more makeup to a recent premiere than most of the women. He says it was for the inevitable television interviews and he looks pale otherwise. Uh huh.

  6. Ryan Gosling looked like he was wearing some make up at the NYC premiere of his new movie last night

Let's go with that and say he has a violent baby and was covering his bruises.
Milla Jovovich, Ryan Gosling...how many victims of Violent Hollywood Babies (VHBs) hide the truth?!
Why is there no OK! Magazine cover "Beat up by BABIES!" ?
Violent babies are a now celebrity epidemic.(?)
Does assisted conception create VHBs? Are surrogates more likely to produce VHBs? On page 50, we chat with Blue Ivy Carter and the Broderick Twins (just released from juvy). Read what they had to say about VHBs!

  8. Eddie Redcarpet. He's not getting the reviews he thought he would and the overall reviews for The Danish Girl are middling.

I've hated him since he did that little jig when he won the Oscar like Gollum finally getting his Precious.

Obviously supposed to be Eddie Redmayne, but I don't see what the big fuss is.

Bingo. The Danish Girl. Actually looks like a fabulous performance by Redmayne, but ummm . . . I suspect he wears makeup to more than just film premieres.

Venice Film Festival review of his performance was nothing short of ecstatic. The film may be middling but from what I saw in the trailers Redmayne is fantastic - he'll likely be nominated for every award but lose out to DiCaprio, at least at the Oscars.

Check out metacritic. A lot of criticism of his performance as being artificial and the film only rates a 62 which puts it out of contention for any critics awards or Oscars.

Reviews at film festivals are always either OTT ecstatic or absolutely scathing. Reviewers now just want to get hits and the best way to do that is either praising to the skies a mediocre film or trashing a mediocre film. 140 characters doesn't allow for a lot of analysis.

I think I'll wait for it OnDemand. There aren't any rattling candy packages or giggly tweeners around if I watch at home.

  16. I hope SNL cuts you a check when they steal your idea for a skit.

Re: Eddie--he is prettier than anyone else in the room with or without makeup, FACT!

Ryan G looked like he was wearing makeup specifically to put a little color/life in his face, like he was green in the face. It's probably not him, but I say he still fits.

Gosling looked different during his red carpet, to the point where I think he's had some work done.

This is obviously meant to be Eddie R. I can't figure out if he's creepy or just geeky. But the film sounds good and I'll probably see it.

  19. I don't get how this is a thing. They ALL wear undereye concealer and HD powder for interviews.
