Blind Items Revealed #39

December 23, 2015

It has barely been a month and this actress is in her second blind item. This is not a good sign. The fact that things are leaking about her this early into her career means there will probably be some headline worthy disasters coming from her. Shame really, because most of the time she seems really nice. Sure, if you compare her to an actress from the same country she hates it and will tell you not to bring it up again. Ever. Smile on her face but the eyes show she means it. The nature of her current movie means she probably won’t get above B list for a while. She showed some flashes of temper on set but everyone assumed it was the tension and the role that brought it out and no one really made a big deal of it. Some screaming and yelling and throwing of things, but it was all about her “character.”
Fast forward to some of the first press interviews she did for the movie. They did not go well. Never really having done that sort of thing, she took things a little too personally and made some comments to reporters and others that were a little too sarcastic and biting. Right at the edge. Behind the scenes of the past month, she has been a nightmare. Screaming at the first sign of something not up to her standards which seem to change by the minute, to literally throwing away into a trash chute in her hotel a designer dress she didn’t like because the designer didn’t fly halfway around the world to present it to her in person. She wore an off the rack dress a studio PR person found with about 45 minutes to spare before the car took her to a premiere. The studio PR people have been cycling through all the cast in the movie but no one wants to have their turn with her. Things need to change quickly if she wants to work outside this franchise.

Daisy Ridley/Keira Knightley/Star Wars

OT somewhat in comparison to this:
Carrie Fisher has admitted she's slept with a few Star Wars dweebs (of course she had a major addiction problem at one time which may be a cause for these transgressions).

  2. Weird. I saw her on The Graham Norton Show and in some other interviews and she doesn't seem like this AT ALL. No hint of it, none.

  3. @sandy I'm more interested in that than anything Daisy Ridley might do

Kind of OT for this blind but I've been surprised by some reactions to reveals (Aliyah, Bey, Depp, Mel). Mixing mental illness (addiction, PTSD, narcissism, etc) w/ $s esp when others are making many $s off them = big trouble.
Have several family members in the industry who constantly reaffirm & remind me why I was wise to leave it before it got too much.
    Just saying. :)

  6. BTW, during The Graham Norton Show, Carrie revealed that she gave Daisy advice which was: "don't go through the crew like wildfire". She also brought Gary; it was hilarious.

See Carrie has always been cool...her family was entirely screwed so she had to cope.

Thank you for revealing this Enty! She is known to pitch a fit when she is getting her hair and makeup done, and I am so glad she was outed.

must have been during her meds adjustment. she's bipolar so depending on if she's on/off meds / her lithium levels, etc.. she might have seemed like a zombie, but when medicated properly, you can function in "normal mode"

But how do you feel about Alvin and the Chipmunks?

  13. The "acting" set stuff is her problem; but the interview stuff is the responsibility of the PR people. They should have had her prepared with stock answers to any of the interviewers questions.

I'm chipmunk neutral. But I couldn't resist jumping into the back and forth on Jon Boyega's running form.
That site is pretty cool. I followed a few of the associated chatrooms, too. Thanks for turning me on to it.

Doesn't seem as if she'd take too well to a PR peon telling her what to say. She'd probably toss him down the trash chute.

She is just a bargain basement Keira Knightley the producers hired because she would be massively cheaper than getting the real thing. The same reason the other costar (the black guy I couldn't tell you his name) wasn't a name actor. They won't have to really start paying them until the sequels but I also assume they signed on for all three because this is/will be their career.

screw daisy, Carrie Fisher is the OG she's all that matters to me.

They intentionally hired no-name actors. You know, like the original Star Wars did?

Sounds like they threw her in the deep end of the pool without sufficient training.

Jon's run--way cool! Pajiba is always coming up with crazy stuff like that, especially when it comes to movies and TV. And its more than nice not to be pissed off by asshats.

The gifs and jpegs make such a difference--no raging or trash and dash allowed, but lots of hilarious gs and js!

Funnily enough, Daisy said in interview with either cosmo or marie claire cant remember, that she has always had a temper, especially as a kid and says a lot of mean things in the heat of the moment that she wishes she could take back and it is something she is working on controlling and she is not sure where her anger comes from.... so there may be some truth to this...
