What foreign born A-list actor was such a perv that he installed two way mirrors in his home, so he could watch house guests have sex anywhere and at any time? The mirrors were discovered several decades after he lived in the home, before it was demolished.

ReplyDeleteIt never fails to amaze me that the studios were able to cover up what they did, (Flynn's predilection, Clark Gable's and John Huston's fatal DUIs )or that his lawyers' stunt of filling the jury with all-female swooning fangurls was approved by the prosecution. That is why he was acquitted of two counts of statutory rape.
Did anyone else see Kevin Kline as Errol in "The Last Of Robin Hood" a couple of years ago? It wasn't much of a movie, it was just ok, but he bore a striking resemblance to EF.

@Zilla1 I thought he was acquitted at least once because the girl(s) lied about being underage and were proven in fact to be in their early 20s? I could be thinking of the wrong Hollywood perv, though. In any case, yes, it is well-known that he liked underage girls and was allowed to prey on many without consequence.
ReplyDeleteErrol Flynn is much-maligned by the narrow-minded and frau-ish. It's annoying. But the peep holes were appalling.
ReplyDeleteThey were both underage. And the girlfriend he was with when he died was also underage. The two he was on trial for were maligned because they had reputations, and one of them had had an abortion..she also had lied about being older before. But Jerry Geisler was somehow allowed to get away with loading the jury with all women, counting on their attraction to Flynn..
ReplyDeleteErroll Flynn cruised high school campuses. There isn't anything narrowminded or frau-ish to say that his pursuit of teenagers was wrong and creepy.
