Blind Item #4

Once her current movie wraps, this foreign born B+ list mostly movie actress from a huge in the past franchise thought she would have lots of roles being offered. Nope. No one wants to hire her. She says she is taking a break, but the big studios have basically blackballed her because they don't want her out doing press for any of their movies.

she said that and then went and filmed four (?) movies, so no not her. at least a couple of them will be out in 2016.

This sounds like Watson, but why would the studios not want her to do press?

Emma Watson has been very vocal in her promotion of perfectly sensible feminism since she was appointed Goodwill Ambassador for UN Women, and has, in recent days, been pushing that even harder, and she's been quite vocal in supporting Jennifer Lawrence, Lena Dunham and Patricia Arquette in holding Hollywood to task for gender pay inequity. She announced in an interview a few weeks ago that she was taking a year off from movies to study and promote feminism.

I can easily imagine Hollywood players wanting not to have her working for them if they think she won't keep her mouth shut about discrimination -- and I see no reason to think she would.

Their loss then; good for her.

  15. Not Kristen Stewart, she isn't foreign born. And has five movies waiting release. It sounds like this is suppose to be Emma Watson, but it doesn't make sense. Emma's last two movies were shelved, and it doesn't look like they will ever be released. Still Emma certainly can handle doing press for her movies.

Couldnt agree with you anymore. People that they need to take off our tv screens they dont. For instance..Kiera Knightly. Im tired of seeing her mug..as well as a few other gay actors.

No, that'd also be Derek on a bad day with all the spacious room he has in his asshole from all the shiny objects he sticks up it.

Well, Emma Watson doesn't need their money that's for sure, Harry Potter set her up for life. That's what they hate; that they can't control her and muzzle her.

And yeah, Emma is set for life just from the Harry Potter franchise so I think she'll be fine.

Yeah. . .she sure showed them!

Where are these studios going to find other young actresses to cast in their roles?
