Blind Items Revealed #4

January 12, 2016

This foreign born B+ list mostly movie actress from the biggest movie of the year has tried to get ahead of the PR curve and is blaming her bad behavior and unwillingness to do things on her co-star. Not true at all. She is turning into a massive diva while he has been gracious and willing to do whatever the studio wants.

Daisy Ridley/John Boyega

Didn't see the film, not my favorite genre....but for the $$$she likely made and all that comes with the ride, one would hope she be more- gracious?

I read that these " new" Star Wars actors didn't get paied very much, but it doesn't matter, whoever does this movie becomes " legendary", even in a bad way, like Jar Jar :). This idiot should PAY, to act in these moves, and be all gracious in doing it.

She should try to get even a bit of the class that Mark Hamill has, always gracious, always grateful, always kind.

you would think she would be a little more humble and gracious and not take her success for granted.

It's possible different things are being asked of them. Women aren't treated the same as men in Hollywood, and the expectations of how they should show their gratitude is different too.

  8. I still say the PR people didn't prepare her properly for the massive media onslaught.

PR people can only do so much. Ultimately it comes down to personality and manners

Nope, the entire multi-billion $ franchise is based upon her role. She is just acting like any 20 year old in her position, i expect a team of Disney handlers to deal with her problems...

I knew Ridley was a problem the second I read that she was irked because people think she looks like Keira Knightley. Who freaking cares, girly - be glad ANYONE notices your ass at all.

Remember - Carrie Fisher became a script doctor after Star Wars. She never did much onscreen after Shampoo and SW. Oh yeah - she played Tom Hanks' wife in The 'burbs, and Meg Ryan's best friend in When Harry Met Sally. BFD. Ridley might not even have that much success after SW.

YES. He's like a young Denzel in that film. Terrific.

Exactly. Emma Watson and Kiernan Shipka are apparently young, kind, well-mannered young women despite their exposure and success. One doesn't HAVE to be an entitled ass.

I think this is a plant by jealous PR types that represent the even more jealous actresses who know that DR is going to start getting her choice of roles in Hollywood. Need a brunette for a role? Ask Daisy Ridley. Need a blonde? Ask JLaw. All the items about JLaw have never, once, been reflected in legitimate media sources, and her co-stars love her. Ditto Ridley. This is a low level smear campaign by the competition that is terrified of a beautiful, talented, YOUNG actress.
