Blind Item #1 - Coachella

This former A list singer turned singer who refuses to work acted as if she didn't want to be recognized before performing. So, people left her alone which was not what she wanted so she went for the incognito but please tell me how wonderful I am. She loved when people said she looked like Stevie Nicks. Our singer suggested that comparison first.

Last time I checked a singer performing a concert at a large festival is considered doing her job...Unless they used a hologram...

Cancelled a concert to go on vacation, doesn't want to fulfill existing contract = refusing to work. Last time I checked.

Seems like this is a "fun" gig with lots of publicity, so she's doing it.

There are reasons she does not want to fulfill her contact---it has sort of been on the news and this site for the past 5 months or so...

Not to mention that this was a surprise appearance. She wasn't part of the official lineup, so it sounds like it was up to her if she wanted to do it.

Yes, I am very well aware that she was given the option to work with a different producer to fulfill her contract and is fighting even that.

    Hence, "refusing to work.".

So you are throwing shade at her for refusing to be a sex puppet for her record label and doing things on her own terms?

Must you get crosswise with everyone, Derek?

That's her tale. I'm sitting on mine.

No. I'm "throwing shade at her" for fighting her professional obligations when the label already said she does not have to work with Luke, just finish the album requirements of her contract. The court would be setting a very slippery slope if they let every artist out of a contract that easily, particularly when the accuser and her mother are already on the legal record as saying nothing happened.

She needs to hold her nose, work with an alternate producer, and crank out the albums. Regardless of whether she was offered a more lucrative deal elsewhere.

  13. I could see how walking into the Sony studios would make her ill. Was her mother there when she was drugged and raped? It sounds like Kesha was trying to let some previous incidents slide so she could keep working until things badly blew up.

Everybody at Coachella looks like Stevie Nicks, even the guys.

  15. Seems like getting raped in Hollywood isn't a traumatic event, hell MJ had media day at his house taking pictures of his victims! smh Kesha stick to your mortals!

Here's hoping she indulges in a bad batch during her stay at Coachella.

Kudos to you, Derek. Lots of sicko "experts" on this thread. Nice move letting them blather on and look like idiots.

Might seem cold, but then again, noone knows it as fact that she was raped, since she is on the legal record as denying it.

  20. Icy even.

Frankly if I were in her shoes I'd throw a strop like no other & refuse to do what my label wanted too.

Why do you have a long, elaborate opinion about it when you say there is no evidence that it even happened? It's pushing your buttons, for sure.
