Blind Item #10 - Kindness

This A-/B+ list mostly movie actor is an Academy Award winner/nominee and also stars on a great pay cable show. He pays all of the bills for an entire Boys & Girls Club each year. He also tries to get his co-workers to pick a child from the club and mentor them for a year. Just a great guy doing great work.

    Ha!
Mick Jagger and Martin Scorsese can't even make something decent? There is no hope.

  13. Whoever it is, is a truly great person! Don't understand why all people who reach a certain level of success don't do something like this. They could change the world.

I dunno - with all the blind items on this site involving child molesters in Hollyweird I don't see a celebrity mentoring a child/youth as a kindness.

I was going with Macy. I'm not sure anyone has ever called House of Lies "great".

  17. I'm still pissed they left Olivia Wilde's character out of the season finale. I wonder if she comes back now that she is pregnant,

Spacey's show is on Netflix, not pay cable.

Cheadle makes it great, he gets nominated for Emmys or GGs every year for this for lead actor. It's won some other minor awards.

I find it tedious mostly. I watched it up until last year, then I stopped.

  28. This is who I thought too. Spacey works with at least one group that mentors and provides financial assistance to disadvantaged kids (Prince's Trust).

Funny my husband really likes the show and I read, play on my phone or fall asleep. I keep telling him sorry but the show sucks. I had such high hopes for it too. I'm not even really loving the music in it. The whole thing is just so meh.
