Blind Item #8
In this huge ensemble film being made in NYC right now, this foreign born A list mostly movie actress who is an Academy Award winner/nominee refuses to work with one of her co-stars unless necessary. She had some of their scenes deleted. She has the power and hates him. He is an Academy Award winner/nominee and hits on every woman possible, despite being married. He then gives play by plays of what happened to everyone on the set.

ReplyDeleteEdward Norton is a notorious jerk. He hadn't worked for years before Birdman because no one would work with him. He got blacklisted. Remember how he was "rewriting" The Incredible Hulk because that incompetent Ang Lee was doing such a bad job?

ReplyDeletei agree with you that he's got a deserved bad rep but he was in some stuff before Birdman like the 2 Wes Anderson films-Moonrise Kingdom & The Grand Budapest Hotel and he was in The Bourne Legacy.You're right though,with his talent he should be an A actor playing leads but his reputation precedes him- what an arrogant idiot.

There are images of them all filming, and neither Kate nor Keira, look thrilled to be standing near him.

@Sadie: You're conflating two Hulk movies. Norton didn't work on Ang Lee's shitshow. Louis Leterrier was directing the 2008 Hulk flick.

ReplyDeleteDoes "Academy Award winner/nominee" mean someone who has won or someone who has *either* won or been nominated? Because if it's the former, this blind can't be Edward Norton or Will Smith.
ReplyDeleteIf it *is* about Ed Norton in Collateral Beauty, I'd go with Helen Mirren for the actress because he's been pictured with Kate and Keira several times, but never with Helen. It could simply mean they don't have exterior scenes together, but it also could be a sign that she's avoiding him. Kate is feisty but Helen is even feistier. I can see her having scenes deleted.
