Today's Blind Items - The Payoff

I wanted to get this out before some 5,000 word article with charts and graphs and arrows and explanations comes out in the next few weeks or month. This is the gist of how it happened.

For almost a decade, this Presidential candidate had an affair with a staffer. Oh, she didn't start out as a staffer. She started out just with a tenuous connection. He found out about that connection and when he saw her photos on Facebook he set up some random mentoring appointment for her. That turned into lunch, and the married candidate hooked up with her. He kept hooking up with her while giving her an allowance that he originally paid for through his own accounts. Later, he learned all about shuttling money that was supposed to be spent for campaigns could just as easily be directed towards the mistress. To make it look better she started working for him. The fact she got paid triple what other people in her position got paid was never spoken about because no one wanted to lose their own jobs. They just dealt with it. At some point, she fell in love. She wanted to marry someone so our politician found someone else to be his main mistress. His former mistress continued to work for him but rarely hooked up with her boss any longer because she didn't want her husband to find out. At some point, the husband did find out so the mistress wanted out. She also wanted to be paid for her silence so she got a lump sum  payment that was massive. She also got a do nothing job for a huge salary that is guaranteed for two years and then will receive another lump sum payment equal to the first lump sum payment. All paid for by donors.

    T Cruz?

Only because Trump has his own money so no need to use campaign funds, I would think.

  5. There is a donate button somewhere on his site if I remember correctly.

    Ted Cruz

  8. This isn't Trump's style. Cruz misses on the decade requirement. I think it's Kasich. He's been around awhile, fake morality, time line works.

This sounds more like someone who's held some kind of office before. Trump has no political experience. I'm going with the Bern - just cause he's a total stud.

Your right, plus this implies a long term affair. Trump has not had access to campaign funds long term. Cruz is the likely candidate.

  11. Sounds like something Trump would do.
Whatever happened to the leggy blond from the first season of "The Apprentice?"
Didn't he give her a cushy job somewhere at one of his "supposedly owned" golf courses?

  12. Plus, this is Trump's only campaign. He has not run for elected office previously. This would have to be another candidate, who has run for office in the past, and consequently, had campaigns.

  13. And campaign funds from which to pay this woman.

Agree that this is a career politician.

Sen. Cruz? Mistress, the CNN commentator, Amanda? She was a former hill staffer and worked for the Senator for a few years as his communications director. The tenuous connection could be that her husband went to Princeton with Senator Cruz which if true, makes Cruz even slimier.

It's Cruz. Trump's holding it to see how today goes in Wisconsin, then he'll shit all over Cruz like the statesman he is, the mistresses will get their 15 minutes, The Donald will win the election and Melania will be the first immigrant First Lady, which is almost amusing except for the terrifying parts.

It's Ted Cruz. The clincher is that the mistress has a guaranteed job for two years. Cruz's current term in the Senate ends in 2018.

Ted Cruz and Amanda Carpenter. It can't be Trump because he's financing his own campaign

    Ah, family values.

DEVELOPING: We Have the DC Madam's Phone Records - Pages and Pages of Phone Records

    Jim Hoft Apr 5th, 2016 8:21 am

The National Enquirer published a story last week accusing Texas Senator Ted Cruz of multiple extramarital affairs. ...

Last week author, lawyer and activist Mike Cernovich offered a $10,000 reward for the sex tape.

    UPDATE: Tuesday April 5, 2016

We have the DC Madam's phone records.
Pages and pages of phone records.
We are deciding how to present this evidence.
Please pass this on to Ted Cruz and his supporters.

    This is Ted Cruz:

Cruz spent a good portion of his early career working for President George W. Bush — first as a legal policy adviser to the Bush-Cheney campaign in 2000, then as part of the recount team in Florida. He was the Department of Justice coordinator for the Bush-Cheney transition team and then spent six months as Associate Deputy Attorney General at the DOJ. But his longest stretch of work for Bush was at the Federal Trade Commission, before he departed to become the Solicitor General of Texas.

This HAS to be Cruz. Cruz and his wife, even though married, lived separate lives for several years. He in Texas and her in NY. What did the 2 think would happen...Come on, a successful young man with a wife a million miles away. He was married but lived like he was single. It's not all his fault. Heidi preferred her job to marriage, a marriage out of convenience maybe?? People in politics think better of those who are married (w/kids) vs those that are not. Isn't that why Bill had to convince Hillary to have a baby...because it "looks" better and will get them closer to their political goals?!

I agree with all the Ted Cruz guesses here. One of his mistresses, Sarah Isgur Flores, worked for Carly Fiorino's campaign and his SuperPAC made a $500k donation to Carly's campaign. The tenuous connection is that Ted and Sarah both went to Harvard Law. TSarah was Ted's political director when he was running for Senate, as well.

Just to be different, the BS, all that coked up energy must be spent doing more than his wife.

If it's Cruz, it's yet another phony right wing hypocrite, getting the right wing evangelical votes that Trump can't get with his 3 wives.

@Kno Won Uno Trump isn't going to win now that the Panama Papers scandal has broke. Today, the PM of Iceland had to resign. They aren't even getting to the US names until May. This is going to put the whole issue of the wealthy not paying taxes on the burner.

The thing with Cruz is until he became a Senator he didn't have a staff he was an employee of a law firm and worked as a clerk in the Supreme Court. He's only been in the Senate for a few years. That's why I don't think it's him. But he did cheat on his wife, that's a given.

  29. I think this goes to show anyone who is Old Man Party (I mean Republican) voter eligible to NOT vote for their candidate.
I think Trump is only running because he secretly wants Hillary to win. (He has to know he doesn't have a chance in November.)

Please. Trump don't give a (beep) about the election, that man is rolling in the dough. Everybody and they mama know his name. That's been his goal all along.

  31. LimoMan9:01 AM

    1) The candidate is male, so that leaves Hillary out despite what many people believe is dangling between her legs.
    2) Campaign money leaves Trump out because he is entirely self financed and is not taking donations.

This leaves Cruz, Kasich and Sanders. Cruz as others said has not been a senator long enough. Sanders has been in politics for a very long time and has led a very libertine lifestyle (he was even writing porn fiction for a while). Kasich has also been in politics for a long time. Between the two, I doubt viagra could even help Sanders at this point, I'll go for Kasich.

  32. I just can't see the Bern trolling FB for fresh meat. He's of the generation where the hippies just freely hung out to swing. I also vote for TC, Just the thought of that dude naked along with that beak-y nose is beyond creepy. I bet he's a screamer too.

  33. Don't forget Paul Ryan. The GOP is still pushing him forward.

  34. I feel like everyone knew his name before though, it's probably some narcissistic bet he had with himself once "i bet you can't become president Donald". "I bet I can, Donald".

Let's not forget Marco Rubio. Technically, he's still a presidential candidate since he only suspended his campaign, not dropping out.

Can't be Trump. He's a business man, not a politician. He's new to politics.

This sounds very similar to Hilary Clinton. My friend used to be her body guard. Hilary's girlfriend/lover, who is her assistant, is Anthony Weiner's wife. Hilary pretty much set it up for her to marry Anthony Weiner, thinking Anthony would have a promising career.

Either that...or it's basically any politician out there. They're all the same. Democrat and Republican. Both sides have had scandals.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Camal196:46 AM

It's True. She is into women. My friend was her body guard for 2 years. She threw a mug at his head when he walked in on Hilary and her girlfriend (Anthony Weiner's wife), fooling around. My friend has the scar on his forehead to prove it, where he had to get stitches. He told me she was a horrible person, with the worse temper.
