Maybe the kids have no idea about their parents' sex lives, which most children don't.
ReplyDeleteI don't recall having a single thought about if my parents were sleeping with each other or sleeping with other people when I was a kid. Unless something happens to spark their interests, kids don't pay much attention to the part of their parents' lives that doesn't involve parenting.
Or maybe I'm abnormally blasé.

ReplyDelete@kno, your parents probably weren't into anything "off". When one or both parents has some sort of kink, the kids know something is off. The inquisitive kids (like I was) find out what it is. It's hard to hide something you're really into.

Highly unlikely. I met someone who used to know Gere. He has had girlfriends all his life. He's a serial monogamist and a very nice guy. Cindy said she was unhappy she messed up the relationship. She said something like she thought she was going to go through life married to him. I think she cheated with Rande who she knew from modeling.
