The wife of this A+ list mostly movie actor who is an Academy Award winner/nominee doesn’t approve of his extra curricular activities with his male celebrity friend so our wife now stays far far away when our actor is having his fun.

Because in the year 2016 we all assume any middle-aged divorced man who doesn't remarry totally MUST be gay, so an actor who has successfully cultivated a reputation as an incurable bachelor for many years totally has to hire a beard and get married. You're swallowing the Rock Hudson narrative from 1950 for post-Cold War actors, and it's a little pathetic. You're way too gullible.

ReplyDeleteShe doesn't approve of his special man bonding activities, but she agreed to be his beard? This doesn't make sense. If she knew of his preference before marriage and she didn't approve, why would she sign up to beard him? George is not a dumb man, and she's hardly that great of a value as a trophy.
I'll take drinking for $1,000. And I don't blame her.

ReplyDeleteIn 'liberal' parts of the west, yup no problem. These are celebrities who depend upon making money with less 'enlightened' parts of the world. If you are an 'edgy' actor like say jared leto, no problem. A screen idol with women have issues to consider. It's all about the benjamins at the end of the day.
