Today's Blind Items- Don't Give Money To This Foundation

If you would like to see your hard earned money being used to fund the shopping, eating and drug habits of this former A list singer in a group and solo, then by all means, go ahead and give some money to his foundation. wherever he goes, this celebrity talks about the foundation and it does have noble goals. The thing is though, the goals are never going to happen. He just figured out a way for the public to finance his lifestyle because he has already burned through a ton of the money he inherited. He has yet to even provide any documentation that the foundation was properly set up but he is out there taking in money hand over fist. It is appalling. It is even more appalling when you consider who he is exploiting.

As far as this being a blind..there is a responsibility to the public, I think, just to flat out say who it is so they don't get defrauded.

I believe this could be Wyclef Jean and his Haiti foundation. There were rumors years ago about where the funds were going.

I think a lot of people would have a hard time giving to any charity connected to Bobby Brown.

  12. Wow,my heart went out to Bobby Brown, but if its a ploy to make money for selfish reasons that's fu*led up! Will nick get her money noe or will her Dad? On their reality show all Bobby's other kids were mean to Bobby Christina!

  13. Anyone stupid enough to believe Bobby Brown will do anything noble with their money probably doesn't have any to donate.

Bobby Brown didn't really inherit much ... Bobbi Kristina died after her 21st birthday but before her 25th birthday. Whe she died, Whitney Houston left Bobbi Kristina all her personal property - clothes, jewelry, cars, furnishings. I don't think she had any real estate in her name but if she did it wasn't worth much - maybe the condo in Atlanta. All of that became Bobbi Kristina's property outright on Whitney's death. And since Bobbi K died without a will (I believe) ... Bobby Brown would get all of that.

But the rest of Whitney's estate went into a trust. That trust was intended to solely benefit Bobbi Kristina (though she hadn't been born yet when Whitney drafted her will, she left everything to her "children" and BK turned out to be her only child). BK got 10% when she turned 21, and was due to get another 15% when she turned 25 and the rest when she turned 30. However if she didn't survive to age 25 that money did not go into her estate, it was to be divided among Whitney's mom and two of her three brothers (half or full).

So, Bobby would also have inherited whatever was left of the 10% that Bobbi Kristina got when she turned 21. But that was only 10% of Whitney's estate which was rumored to be worth only $20 million (all of that from record sales after she died) ... and I read that Nick Gordon and Bobbi K were not exactly thrifty.
