This former A list world politician was recently found dead. It wasn't an accident. Apparently he was going to talk and spill some very big beans. Couldn't have that happen.
Could this be John Ashe, former head of UN general Assembly?. Was just asphyxiated in an accident by a barbell crushing his neck, and was under indictment for bribery charges.
This makes sense, bribery charges often get bigger fish indicted, and he was involved with Chinese Billionaires . Also, one report says he died of a heart attack, another from a weight lifting accident.
John Ashe is the only one that fits, but I barely knew he existed until I saw his obituary. I know several FB politicians, but I do not know who is the current head of the UN assembly. I suppose A list means that most people know who he is like Ban Ki Moon, extremely corrupt kofi annan, or I-do-not-know-if-he-is-dead Pérez de Cuéllar if you speak about the UN
