This A- list mostly movie actress is married. She wants a franchise desperately. She is putting a ton of pressure on her foreign born A list husband to have her cast in the next installment of his franchise and then wants a spin off franchise of her own.

BUT.....alas, I am kind of a sucker for her good sense of humor. I'm a bad person.
also it should be noted she is pretty good at picking projects that arent as bad as youd expect them to be. age of adaline apparnetly wasnt awful, the shallows apparently isnt awful. way back in the day I saw this bizarre film with her and Max Minghella where she is a beauty queen who dies and then comes back to life in the morgue when the embalmer kisses her. I mean, it is so strange...but I kind of liked it in a whimsical, morbid way

She blatantly manipulates, lies, cheats and uses her insider connections to the point where she can't even create a believable story as to why she wasn't indicted and is so arrogant she doesn't even bother.
Which is not to say that Trump is any better.
We are in for some interesting times.
Blake will want a role as a comic book character, so that she can get that spin off. Love interests don't get spinoffs. The right comic book character will get one. Sometime on Saturday of Deadpool's opening weekend, Fox wrote the guys behind the movie a blank check, and I mean that literally. Fox said, we want a sequel, asap, and here is a blank check that we have signed in order to make that happen. We will also greenlight this blank sheet of paper as a script. As such, Blake knows that she can get any character incorporated into the script, because Disney/Marvel will sign off on this as well. Some supporting female comic book character, or a male one that can be repurposed, will get her 1-3 movies. If they are done well, she can be A list, if not A+ list. These comic movies let the stars get whatever other roles they want, because the producers of the other films know that the comic movies get tons of PR, in which the star can also slip in free plugs for smaller films. JLaw used this exact strategy to work her way into multiple Oscar caliber roles. Blake is hot, part of an A list couple (A++++ if she can pull this off and Deadpool continues to be awesome), and young. If she works it right, she could be the biggest female star in Hollywood.

ReplyDeleteI think Blake Lively is attractive. Not pretty or beautiful...but attractive (great body too). Her acting is absolutely horrific though. I want to like her, but when she speaks...it's soooooooooo annoying. She cannot carry a movie. Age of Adeline was unwatchable. Her new shark movie...the shark is the lead character. I think she should model, but not act.
