Hi, Claire. Is this supposed to be humor? Did you forget that before Lindsay destroyed her life, she was very hard-working and made tons of commercials and many movies for over a decade? That is hard work. Have the Kardashian daughters actually worked a day in their lives? Being videotaped while living your life does not really count as work.
Nope. It's not meant to be humor. I feel sorry for Lindsay in many ways. Her parents are fucked up. Yes, she worked when she was younger, pushed into it by her fame and money obsessed parents. Supposedly she wanted that, but she was really too young to know anything else.
The problem is, as early as before the time she filmed "Mean Girls" she had a mean girl attitude and unfortunately carried on the attitude and demons of her parents. Nature? Nurture? Probably a mixture, but her constant lies, attitude and complete refusal to take responsibility for any of her actions made me start to think of her as less of a victim and more of a self-absorbed bitch.
As for the Kardashians, I think they're boring and their fame is undeserved, BUT we know Kim worked for awhile. She cleaned Paris Hilton's closet... lol... and the three older sisters ran a store until they hit the big time with their reality show. I don't really respect them, and I think they're mostly fake and fame obsessed, but at one point I think they worked as hard as Lohan ever did.
You are right. I just keep wishing that things had turned out differently for all of them! I keep dreaming that Lindsay will move to Japan and shave her head or enter a church-intensive and embrace God. Something, anything where she can just start over and leave this mess behind.... As for the Kardashians, they are still functional. They are not who I follow in my life for many reasons but they have not lost their minds, at least!
