As bad as the raping of a teenager by Roman Polanski was, there is even something worse that was done by a celebrity who is even bigger than Roman Polanski and at one time was one of the biggest celebrities on the planet. Unlike Polanski, this celebrity never served a day in jail or paid one dollar to the victim for his crime. This celebrity is a permanent A+ list musician. For several years, this celebrity kept a teen basically imprisoned in his home. When he was on the road, she was watched by others so she would not escape. When the celebrity was home he would repeatedly rape her. This was not a one night thing, this was a years long rape and sexual abuse of a teen who was coerced and brainwashed during those years into never pressing charges when she was finally released.
Oh, and if you think that can’t get any worse, this same teen, who was not quite yet a teen lost her virginity to this, at the time almost 30 year old permanent A+ list singer who also raped her and never spent a day in jail for it. He would try and make what he did sound better by saying she was 13, but she was 12.

ReplyDeleteAs I said in the original blind, she was 15, if any of her Bowie story is accurate. She did have a long time relationship with Page, but she wasn't held captive, she never went with him to his home in England, were he lived with his girlfriend. From what I understand, she even went to school during this time, and lived with her parent (s).

One that nearly every girl ( or boy... think Ken Pitt, Lindsay Kemp) has always said when they've kissed and told. She never said it one time. If she was a virgin and he was her first, god bless her then. Her story always changes and she gets her years mixed up as well.

ReplyDeleteI missed this item but I don't believe it. It's probably true of Jimmy Page and fairly well acknowledged. But I don't think there's any way she could have been with Bowie before Page. It was a long time ago but you only have to check his touring schedule to see it could not have happened the way she said it did. She probably never even met him at all.
ReplyDeleteBowie wasn't really fussy about his partners at that time but in general, he seemed to like women who were strong, mature, experienced and he could have an intellectual conversation with. He was a very devoted family man in later life and had a teenage daughter who survived him. I don't think it's nice for her to see these things being said about her father.
Pedophilia is a horrible crime and there have been many shock cases lately. I'm entirely supportive of the victims and am glad when perpetrators get what they deserve. But it doesn't mean that every story printed in the media is true. Please check all details first.
