This foreign born a-hole of a director who is still alive has talked smack about this permanent A list actress for decades because she wouldn’t sleep with him. There was also the time she kicked him in the balls. Twice.

ReplyDeleteSort of OT--I watched "Chinatown" for the first time in full just recently (unforgivable, I know). Faye really stands out in this and it's understandable why she was one of the premier actresses of her day. And it's Jack in his heyday. With RP in the nosey role (!). But what really stands out is John Huston--after all that's come out about him since, his role in the film was probably written with him in mind.
