That poor woman had too much thrown at her at once. She wasn't mentally healthy to begin with. She's made enough money to live comfortably and put out a few albums here and there if she wants. I hope they don't push out into the public eye again.

I know this experience all too well due to mental illness and social phobia....

I wish her nothing but the best. It's so hard. Sometimes it's just easier to rot away at home. The thought of leaving the house literally strikes terror in me sometimes.I have major depressive disorder but i believe she has something else i cant remember. either way, feel better...its tough. I have nothing for love for anybody who struggles with things like this.

She has Asperger's, which I guess makes her more tightly strung and anxious.

Autism is not a mental illness.

I feel sorry for her - anxiety disorders can be terrible to live with. And yes, she may be on the Autism Spectrum (possibly Aspberger's Syndrome), but anxiety problems and other mental health conditions (like ADD/ADHD) often overlap with Autism.

As the mother of an Aspie, I can tell you that Asperger's alone does not make you tightly strung or anxious. Anxiety is often an co-condition, however.
