Why don't the older actors on these shows try to look out for the kids? You would think that Ed O'Neill would talk to these kids. He and Katy were close to their Bundy "offspring" and other than David having a few questionable relationships, Christina and David seemed to have survived their early years in the business fairly unscathed.
Yes, it is down to the parents but the shows where the kids seem close to their older co-stars seem to deal with the temptations better. I know if I was in a situation of being an older co-star, my natural maternal instincts would kick in and I would be protective. The kids spend more time with their tutors and co-stars than their parents.
