While doing press and premieres for the blockbuster set to open this weekend, one person in the cast is universally disliked. The actor/singer. No one wants him around for a second installment. No one. From his ridiculous method acting to the drug use, he was a nightmare.

ReplyDeleteHe had so little screen time, I don't think he needs to worry. I think that was the director's way of saying GTFO considering he thought he was supposed to have a lot more time on screen.

ReplyDeleteI didn't. To me, it looked like every movement he did was measured, same with the way he spoke. One of those "And the Oscar goes to ..." performances that is on the brink of camp. I was quite happy he wasn't in it that much.
ReplyDeleteThe one who does drugs is his brother SL. He is hooked on Heroin and Cocaine. OD'd basically thrice every year since 2013 apart from 2016. Was seriously close to being kicked out of the band but since he is Jared's brother he gets a pass. Apparently he is refusing to sign a record deal because he can't guarantee his reliability for the next tranche of shows. Old fart is unable to drum actual rock for two hours straight now.

ReplyDeleteActually you're quite wrong. SL has been suffering over the years with addiction but he's quite clean now - you can see that in his eyes and also in his body. Everyone feels their age at some point that doesn't mean he can't drum anymore! But as you seem to know things that the rest of us don't - can you tell me how you know he is refusing to sign the new contract?

ReplyDeleteYou are so far off about SL. He's been sober for quite some time. You can see it in his eyes. He's happier and healthier than he has been his entire career. He's struggled in the past, sure, but we all have our demons to battle. And after seeing him at camp i assure you his ability to drum is as good as ever. He's a beast in thos things.
