The former almost A- list mostly movie actress turned escort is begging for a sequel to a movie role. Well, she is begging for any movie role really, but especially this one. Thing is though, even if a sequel is made or some kind of streaming reboot, no one wants her involved. At all.

ReplyDeleteTRUE STORY: Not sure many of you CDANers know what a 'transcriber' is, but I was one. You sit at a computer with headphones and type every word you hear coming from the tape you are listening to. At the end of a TV program you see 'For a transcript of this program please cal...' We create the transcript. Anyhoo. Our clients were the creme de la creme of the media world. To get hired was an honor. A nice Church Lady type was hired and seemed to be doing a bang up job. Everyone liked her. One day the owner of the company asked her to come to the office. No biggie. Maybe a new assignment. A few minutes later we heard loud wails and crying coming from the office. Then slammed doors and no Church Lady. Apparently, she had mental problems and had not been taking her meds. Her transcript was a mess and the owner asked her what it was about. Her answer: I was transcribing the voices in my head. They wouldn't shut up. Needless to say we never saw Church Lady again. This has to be a first in the business. Thought I'd share.

ReplyDeleteI disagree. She did a decent job. But every scene was stolen by another actor. And her vanity undermined her role. She had to dress like a Hollywood sex kitten for the party.
