Blind Items Revealed #2 - Anniversary Month

January 31, 2007

This B list actress has always had a career with lots of starts and stops. At one point everyone she was the next big thing. At some point though, her moods and her sexual orientation caused her to lose a few parts that she would have otherwise been given. Now, with her career back on track and concerns about which team she plays for mostly irrelevant, there is a new problem she is being forced to face. Face literally. She was given some bad botox injections and has had some intermittent problems moving her facial muscles. Right now doctors are taking a wait and see attitude to her most recent outbreak, but our actress is really afraid she will start to sputter again and never get back.

I don't remember her career getting back on track, but I do remember she did and said some weird things I think that she was a space alien or something? And remember a bit that she said she lived in a fantasy world because her father had sexually molested her as a kid and she escaped to it because the pain was too much.

  2. @sandy given everything we've heard since about thr parents of some of these celebs, I'm tending to give that last part more credence

I never thought she was going to be the next big thing.

Yes it was all massive news right before 9-11, which of course wiped it off the papers forever. She was still with Ellen. Ellen had told her not to talk about the alien. Nothing to do with her sexuality -- in fact the big joke (which appeared in a Steve Martin movie even) was how she used her bisexuality to sleep her way to being part of a top power couple in Hollywood.

I liked her in Volcano with Tommy Lee Jones. Thought she was a sweet actress. Very vulnerable.

I loved her in that movie with Harrison Ford where she's a beauty magazine executive and he's a bush pilot in the South Pacific and they get marooned on a deserted island together. That was a fun movie. What the hell was its name?

Ah! Google is your friend: "Six Days Seven Nights". Cute flick.

  7. Since my daughters diagnosis, I get the feeling that maybe that Anne is suffering from BPD (or some other mental illness/)..

I say this because of her: I'm lesbian; I'm not lesbian. flipping

Maybe she was just being hit on by too many people?
    I don't know. But, i didn't think she was a bad actress.

    But what do I know.

She was being hyped for the next big thing before she got with Ellen. I did fell sorry for her when her mental issues came out about 10 years back. However, since then she comes across as a massive witch in any of her interviews.

This is probably some karma coming back to her.

I love that movie! Really saw Harrison go a little outside of his acting comfort zone in that one.

  10. Oh, she was. I remember her from Another World (hah! the irony). She was great in that, and her career really started to take off after she left but then things got weird.

but i thought that Harrison Ford hated working with her & resented having to have romantic scenes with Anne H.... he wanted her replaced .

She really was amazing in Another World. Her Daytime Emmy was very well-earned.

She's a complete fruitcake. Bipolar all the way.

All gays are bipolar. Homosexuality IS bipolar disorder.

And don't forget, 80% of all actors are gay (because someone told david that once, which means it's true) so that means that 80% of all actors are bipolar. Truly staggering.
