It must be kind of embarrassing for this singer to have to be monitored when with her child(ren). It must be especially so when it is a public event. The monitor is also a nanny, so that is a good cover story explaining her presence.
@AyyyPapi, that's true, but paps aren't falling over each other to get pics of Fergie when everyone more famous is campaigning for an Oscar. I think she called them herself, what with her looking out of it on a red carpet.
