Blind Item #10
No one will pay her quote for a movie any longer. Oh, sure, they will pay it for one of those ensemble acting movies where her role is minor. They pro rate her fee. It works out well. However, her biggest offers now are for half of what she used to command. Her movies are bombs and she is not who she was. So, when she spins you a yarn about why she is doing new things, the truth is she has no choice because she won't let her ego take a reduced fee for film.

ReplyDeleteI've been going back and forth on this... it's definitely between Jennifer and Julia but... having a hard time making up my mind on it. I love Jen, but... her movies suck, and it isn't her acting that's the problem. I think she takes a role feeling it will go her way, but either in editing or when the film hits the cannister (yeah, I know... arcane) it just cannot end up the way she thought.
ReplyDeleteJulia's movies also suck... she doesn't even look like she wants to do this anymore. I figure she does a film every few years because she needs the bucks. After she got the Oscar, she stopped trying. Name the last good movie she made.

ReplyDeleteMy money is on Anniston wanting to do TV again, saying that is where the quality is. Right Jen. But any time a show become successful and brings in the big bucks, at some point the actors are going to want to get paid and deservingly so. Unfortunately it signals for the end of the series. I'm surprised TBBT is still on because I felt it would end as soon as they paid the actors those million dollar per episode salaries as with Friends and Seinfeld. I also think it doesn't bode well for the actors for future series. So if she thinks she is going to resume that million dollar bucks payday she is sadly mistaken.
ReplyDeleteGiven that she just announced a desire to return to tv this blind is definitely Aniston. Blinds pulled from recent news. I haven't checked the Daily Mail but would bet an item about her return to tv there also which would most definitely be the clincher.
