Blind Item #12

I can't figure out if he is taking public digs at his wife or just wants people to know he is employed as an actor, but this B- list actor who is from an acting family and is less successful than a sibling and a parent always takes script pages and runs through the with his celebrity wife while out in public. Every meal in public involves him running through lines and making sure people notice.

He's running lines with her in public, how is he taking digs at her? I think I missed something.

(Even though the description fails to mention his musical endeavors, or Miss Diana Ross's musical legacy, for that matter... I still think your Evan Ross guess fits!).

I read this as Oliver Hudson. Goldie Hawn and Kate being more famous.

Maybe he's supposed to be making conversation with her or pay attention to her instead of using her a line-runner? IDK.

I do this (but only because I'm paranoid and I don't feel safe unless I have my scripts on my person at all time). Seriously, even when doing it is necessary, there are ways to conceal it. If you're alone and if you don't want people to think you're crazy (or showing off) maybe stuff an earphone in one ear, it'll make you look like you're making a hands-free call instead. LOL.

I don't get why people have to constantly try to prove that they're "employed" all the time? I'm a freelancer who works from home and I've had people underestimating (instead of being thankful) me when I attend their events because I'm not late (because I actually got my office work done on time so I could attend their event). Sometimes I'd wake-up at 3 in the morning to make it possible, and when I show-up they just eye me down like I don't have a life. That's why I stopped attending events. Sometimes I'll be pissed off people are late to the farewell party of a good friend and they just snap back at me and say, "it's not like you have a work schedule!" WTF? We live in a society that puts too much value on what these kinds of things that people start behaving all weird... FFS.

I agree there. You see some pap walking while holding onto something that looks like a script or barely showing from a handbag to signal 'I got work' which may or may not be true. Lohan used to do that a lot.
