The parents of this tweener actress from a hit almost television show got angry with her when she took any photos that were other than solo on the red carpet. They want her to be her own brand and not trapped in an ensemble.
Yes ,Millie, but I still wonder if the industry people are bad mouthing the parents for their own motives. I remember years ago, Hillary Duff commenting about the Disney people trying to keep her parents at bay when she was 15. She's one of the few that came out of there in one piece, although I did hear of some brief problems.
I wonder what the future beholds for her...it's not like she has ANY dialogue on Stranger Things. Sure, she is sufficent-a really good fit for the role but the whole thing is a recipe for disaster. She claims Winona is her mentor-which I TOTALLY GET and think is rad but at the same time-ummm...
I read Hilary's mom *aka "Texas Mom"* is incredibly racist. Her best friend is in Toronto and her dad use to be the mayor. I have met him (at a school placement -he is a lawyer now) -I like Hilary but was saddend to here of her mother.
Millie's insufferable parents. I saw where her male co-stars were being interviewed, then she came up and inserted herself into the middle of it, so she's learning young.
I also saw a group interview with the kids a few months ago-and she was ANNOYING the boys. She would say someting snarky about them forgetting her lines-and one of them called-her out saying "You dont even have ANY lines.."
and like wtf was up with The Golden Globes when they were doing some cheesy lip-sync thing to UpTown Funk? Like -so weird and irrelevant. They kids are great, including Millie-but it's just too much hype. The show is great but not THAT great...
Can not STAND her! She's so obnoxious and crazy for attention. I hope she either grows out of it--I mean I know she is young and all of this is so new--or I hope she does not have a long career if she doesn't. I did notice though that she is no longer running around with the boys as much. They aren't one big group as much as anymore.
In regards to Millie, glad I'm not the only one who can't stand her. I'm usually completely indifferent towards child stars, but something about her just pisses me off. She comes across as incredibly smug and arrogant, then tries to pass it off as a "wise-beyond-my-years" thing. I'm not buying it. Thankfully, I predict in a few years, after a pandering movie role or two, her career will be dead. Let's just hope she doesn't go the route so many before her have, amd start dressing trashily for attention.
