Blind Item #17 - Golden Globes
This foreign born A/A- list mostly television actress from a long running hit network show got a lot of flak for her dress. Maybe next time she won't bad mouth the design team that has kept her dressed forever. She also picked up a nice paycheck from the company that dressed her last night. Meanwhile, the shunned design team created a gorgeous dress that an appreciative Oscar winner wore.

ReplyDeleteHer shtick during the broadcast was not funny at all. Can she do anything other than make jokes about her English?
ReplyDeleteI doubt it Soapy. She's this generation's Charo but Charo at least sang and danced too.

ReplyDelete@farmgirl, Jinx! Seriously, though, I don't think we'll be discussing Sofia Vergara after her beauty fades and her one-note shtick gets old.
ReplyDeleteNot a fan of Sofia but her dress was just like all those other dresses. You got the dress then the material stops, being unfortunately replaced with the see thru beige mesh that goes to the boobs or the ass or the sides. But since Enty is going fashion, please allow me to share the object of my visual dispair from GG. I wanted to jump in the screen and rip Nicole's sleeves off her frame.

ReplyDeleteI thot Sofia V was pretty funny, if not typical. She sounded like she was making a mistake, though no one was fooled. It made me chuckle.

ReplyDeleteYou do realize that Sophia, as well as the other presenters, are given lines by writers? Fire them.
ReplyDeleteCharo's legal name (per wikipedia) is "María del Rosario Mercedes Pilar Martínez Molina Baeza", which is just awesome.
ReplyDeleteYes @ farm girl, she plays beautiful flamenco music. her x husband was a band leader, Xavier Cugat and that's how she became famous. She still tours but mainly at casinos! She has real talent. Sofia looked va va voom. Best body in La la land .
