Blind Item #6

This foreign born A+ list mostly movie actor is recycling stories and changing names again. This time he has substituted the name of his first wife with the name of his second wife when it comes to anxiety attacks. Apparently he thinks people don't go back in time and look at other interviews.

Yep, it's Reynolds. He said the same things he said of Blake about Scarlett.
Just like he switched and changed names in all his stories from the parachute thing to the apple pie story or the biking tour and the dead horse...!

  7. No doubts he's used to change names, details, but dont remember him saying the same about ScarJo...any tips to that old interview?

ScarJo was a wilde horse if you also look back at her past interviews about being BI and sex on the back of the car. He might be PTSD with that one

That was public. Imagine if you close the doors. A Scar indeed

In fairness, it's not just RR. When the Star Wars hype was hitting for the movie last year, I heard the same stories from the old cast that I've read again and again, spun slightly to modernize the details. I've heard the same stories about vacations George Clooney took with his friends at least 50 times, updated with different locales and regional alcohol to fuel the story.

This happens for a couple of reasons. Despite the fact that we think they're the most interesting people on the planet, stars really are "just like us." In a 24-hour period, or a year, or even ten years, only so many crazy things happen to most of them. For the most part, they get up, go to work, go to the gym, then sleep--and who wants to hear about any of that? There are only so many stories to tell.

Second, even if they do have a totally crazy story, most of the time they are not going to give up their friends to talk about that one borderline legal thing they did on vacation that could cost someone a role just so they can entertain Jimmy Kimmel or the writer from Vanity Fair. (Everyone is so touchy these days, and studios would rather avoid the bad PR in advance than clean up a crapstorm later.) PR people give reporters, hosts, etc. long lists of things not to bring up--and if they do, the interview is over. We've all seen them walk off.

They're not going to talk about their own addictions, unless they've conquered them. They're not going to talk too much about the wife and kids, because that's personal and in this day and age of creeps being able to find you in the bathroom of a Von's in Temecula, you don't need to help the creepers out with details so they can think they know you even more than they already do. They're not going to talk about sexuality; it's either boring (we already know RR is straight) or taboo.

So what does that leave? The 10 vanilla things they've already discussed--spun to update the details. Actors, singers, ball players... they all do it--which is why we read CDAN and the like, to find out all the things they don't want to talk about.

Tue,Regal Princ ess, Ryan is especially bad at it though. Switching wives in a story is a no no.

Meh. It was a minor sin. In the Variety cover story (http://bit.ly/2j1KykU), he talked about how he has always battled anxiety, and he mentioned that Blake "keeps him sane."

He said the same thing years ago about Scarlett, whom he was married to just as he was starting to blow up; I think it might have been in Vanity Fair. Big deal. It's not like he search-and-replaced names in their honeymoon details.

My rant was merely to point out that they ALL do this. I'm only a middling fan of RRs but... calling him out alone on this seems kind of chicken shit.
