This foreign born celebrity offspring of a permanent A lister is an actress. A decent actress. Not good enough to be a nominated actress which is why other nominees at a party last night were snickering behind her back. Everyone knows the rumors about how she got the nomination. No, it was not sleeping with the voters.

ReplyDeleteAlmost all Golden Globe nominations are bought and paid for. It's a fact. Tom Ford even sent out bottles of perfume to the HFPA members and low and behold, one of his actors actually won something.

ReplyDeleteSeems so. Are you also having problems with comments appearing and disappearing? The major technical glitch used to be just getting the comments to show up. Now they do, then they don't, and on and on. That and the constant site freezes are driving me bananas.

ReplyDeleteToday the comments seem to be here and whatever site I was transposed to yesterday hasn't appeared yet. But this is my first freeze of the day so we'll see.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen that other site today either. It's better today than it was yesterday, but I don't know what to make of the hide and seek comments. I'm hoping the increase in problems recently is actually a sign that the site is being worked on to improve it.

ReplyDeletePoor chick, she is a pretty decent actress and does not deserve the pain, she is not lady gaga for instance, and it is not unlikely that she can be nominated for an award without her father's help.
She had a relatively big feature in Vanity Fair, so they thought something of her.

ReplyDeleteTom Ford is boring and utterly self absorbed. I had the misfortune to sit at a table with him once, he never shuts up, makes everything about himself, his talent and only talks about he, himself and him.
