Blind Item #12

This foreign born actress is barely a teenager. Barely. Her parents continue to cash in on her fame though. They sign her up for all kinds of personal appearances without sharing any of the money with the agency of the actress. Oh, and they always insist on being paid in cash. At an event this past week, they literally walked out of the place with a Trader Joe's shopping bag filled with cash.

Maybe there's a bot post trigger that's tripped every time a public appearance is mentioned.

That would explain it. Millie's a bit too young for Entern to extremely dislike, he saves that for their 20s.

Enty doesn't hate her yet, just her parents. I wonder if he's doing something to alert the agency or something. Seriously, coming out of a store with a bag of cash?

  10. Celebs often do cash deals for appearances at cons, that's not surprising. Also, a third party agent (or yes even the parents) can easily set up the convention arrangements. If you can save 10% why wouldn't you? I don't see any big deal here. She should cash in while she can. I'm sure she'll be around awhile but just in case, it can't hurt to rake it in now. My only concern is - is the money going all to the parents or is she getting the bulk? THAT is what should be concerning. A lot of times parents of child stars think their owed something for the sacrifices they make, and so instead of taking some minor salary from the actor to compensate the time they spend overseeing the actor's business, they'll just spend all the money on the family and cover all expanses through the child who becomes the sole bread winner. And many times these parents will be going from $40-60k a year middle class jobs to suddenly being responsible for MILLIONS of dollars, and often they haven't a clue wtf they're doing. Thank God for coogan accounts, but even still that's only a piddly 10% and if Millie isn't a legal resident of the USA that may not even apply to her. :/

Millie Bobby Brown. It's a shame too because she seems like such a sweet kid, just completely at the mercy of her greedy parents. Has anyone seen any interviews with her? She's absolutely lovely and adorable. I really hope she's somehow able to make it out of Hollyweird unscathed.

When my kid was an actress (aged 9) I was not able to spend any monies she recd. from acting, etc. Is this law (Coogan Law) just for the US? Can she sue them when she gets older? Enty?

Good for her parents. Hopefully they're socking the money away for a good college education for Millie. They should definitely milk it for all the money they can, while she's popular. It probably won't last.
