No. He's almost exclusively a film actor (not 'mostly TV'). He still puts out albums. Ice T has become a 'mostly' TV actor; the only thing is (and I could chalk this up to Enty's goofy ratings) is that Ice T, in his prime, might have been A list, as he was as big a rapper as there was at his peak. But that's a minor quibble.
Only other names I could think of that might sort of fit: - Common (he does film and TV, still raps, though - put out an album last year) - Flavor Flav (was probably A list, at least, with Public Enemy ,but maybe only A- as a name, himself; mostly reality TV star, not an actor)
Only thing about all the Ice-T guesses is, I think he took the advice after all if it is him. Came back after season break on SVU looking SERIOUSLY trimmer than before and I wondered if surgery had been the case.
