Blind Items Revealed #2

March 9, 2017

This late night talk show host went on a rant earlier this week to his bookers who he feels are not doing their job. He thinks they are bringing him more and more second tier guests for all the spots each night on the show.

Jimmy Fallon

I wonder if agents are trying to blackball him for his interview with Trump? Or if it something else like his poor reputation as a drunk?

  2. Could be the Anti-Trump rants he inserts into
the monologues every night that are driving down ratings.

he lost ground in the ratings by softpedaling trump. he's too good a writer for this to be accidental. i'm guessing he's avoiding controversy/under pressure from universal studios who don't want to alienate trump's base.

Jimmy has had some really memorable nights with fascinating guests. What he doesn't understand is, there aren't THAT many sober, lucid and talented people in the biz these days. Don't blame the staff, do it yourself. Get the numbers of men and women you'd like to have on your show and personally call them. I doubt if many would turn you down, Jimmy. I certainly wouldn't. Unfortunately, the only talent I have is I type really, really fast. Sorry.

ps for anyone that doesn't know, universal opened a new ride called "race through new york with jimmy fallon". don't know of many celebrities who'd find him "anti-trump" or who would boycott him for it!

Had to blame someone for Steven Colbert's higher ratings suddenly toppling Jimmy Fallon from his late night throne.

Hey they could always bring back jay Leno!

This is probably it, he needs to focus on his ratings, like Leno Letterman coexisted with different audiences, Fallon's show is very repetitive with the same stupid games he makes everyone do.

it's probably in his contract with universal to keep his show mainstream. one joke trump doesn't like could have his base boycotting the parks.

I find this hilarious, considering he's the biggest late night hack.

If you want to watch politician's get bashed you watch Colbert, that is why Colbert is beating him in the ratings. People want Trump bashed and it is what Colbert is known for.

The best thing for him to do is stay neutral and focus on the many stories that aren't political!!! We all know that there is a lot of political termoil out there, and the other hosts are already saturating their shows with it. Instead, find things that we can all find funny- Most of us may not agree on some things, but the majority of experiences in life are pretty universal, so focus on those aspects. At the end of a long day, I just want to laugh and be entertained and to forget about politics, terrorism, murders, and all the negatives that we are bombarded with all day long. We all need an escape, which is why most of us find ourselves on this site daily.

Because if people wanted dumb jokes and celebrities playing dumb party games Jane Lynch and Hollywood Game Night would be on year round. And she does it better than Fallon.

  15. Doubt it. EVERYBODY is making fun of Trump in their monologues.

Maybe all the anti trump jokes are driving down ratings. Believe it or not. A lot of people love Trump! It's the haters that are louder.

One interview out of hundreds of interviews. They've all been poor. And it's not like if Unfunny Fallon attacked trump that Hillary would magically win.

Don't think Leno would think twice about driving over Fallon's dead body to take the Tonight Show back to LA.

Your side wants trump bashed. Il like it when we had Johnny Carson. He hit on everyone. Dem or repub. And (unlike all the late night host of now) wasn't overly mean about it.

    Hate is not comedy.

'Love' is a really strange word for this guy, especially for people who don't actually know him. I've yet to see any 'lovable' qualities about him.

I like Jimmy but he has been really boring lately. The bits suck and the guests are second tier. Half the time I don't even know who they are. He had better lay off the booze and fix his show or that fat English guy will take his place.

There are many sides who want Trump bashed. Even Boris and Natasha like seeing Trump bashed. All Presidents and major politicians get hit with late-night jokes, always have. Trump's inability to take a joke makes them land harder.
