my guess is that the russian manager is a total enabler, wanting mariah to be oblivious to her thievery. in one episode of the reality show the manager was disallowing show expenses mariah really wanted. gave me the impression she cuts corners in order to skim more for herself, her boss be damned. and mariah thinks she can trust her. it's really sad.
