This B+ list mostly television actor was A- list before he bailed on his long running network hit. His wife reads the tabloids and gossip sites and knows what is going on with his former co-star. The actor doesn't get a moment alone now.
Speaking of Mariska, back in the early 60s I spoke with her mom on the phone. My best friend, a dancer, knew her well. Can't tell you how incredibly sweet, warm and sincere Jayne Mansfield was that night. She made me feel like I had been her best friend for years. I have never forgotten that phone chat. She died shortly thereafter. A real tragedy all around.
