Speaking of OITNB actresses, this one is arguably the most famous of them all. She went off on her agent because she thought she was a lock for a role, but she lost out to someone similar to her but a decade younger.
Tough cus Laura Prepon had some fame before the show and Laverne Cox has surpassed the other girls on the show so not sure who's the most famous of all of them.
Kate Mulgrew was on TV back in 70's. I think this her. Most of the actresses on OITNB are in their 20's and wouldn't be losing out to decade younger actresses.
According to IMDB the most famous ones are Kate Mulgrew and Taylor Schilling.
My bet is Taylor for this one. She is 32 years old and it's not a stretch someone 22 years old would be cast for the role instead this is Hollywood after all.

it's a more hyperbolic version of real life – as in, man leaves older woman (over 30) for younger woman because he can and because she's hotter and younger and "tighter" - now add hollywood to the mix - a VISUAL dream factory of an industry and yes, you get this a lot. Guess what surprises me the most is that people are still surprised.
I think so too,the others may have better resumes, but she is the name people think of for the show.Someone similar could mean transgender actress,Maybe she was priced out of the job as well.
I'd think Laura Prepon or Natasha Lyonne because they've been relevant for the longest amount of time. Laverne is the most "famous" right now, but I don't see her losing out on a part with her momentum, even to someone younger. Out of Laura and Natasha, I think Laura would be the one more likely to go off on her agent over something like this.
Adding hat Laverne is a total diva so it's easy to think it might be her. But Schilling would compete the most for roles, so it's more likely that it's her.
