Blind Item #8

This former one year wonder/former beard did a ton of shopping this past week. Just spending ridiculous amounts of money. The card she was using was neither in her name or the name of her boyfriend.

So did she steal a credit card or does she have a sugar daddy?

How in hell can she use a card that she does not own? When I worked in retail/hotels/bars/some other shit where I had to suffer disgusting customers and took a credit card, I had to ask for an ID card, and not allow them to pay if I was not given it.

Well, I had to ask them to pay some other way, the companies were awful, but not stupid.

How exactly does that work? I have $3500 in clothes, here's not my card or anyone's card who is not around right now, so just check me out and ask no questions. WTF?

After Pretty Woman came out sales clerks became afraid to check IDs.

When the cashier asks you, "signature or PIN code?" You tell them you prefer the latter. I'm assuming the card owner gave her the code.

This is why I don't even bother setting up the PIN code option on any of my credit cards, I stick with my old skool signature.

  13. Well I don't know how long ago you worked in retail, but I have never been asked to hand over an ID when paying by credit card. When I was a teen my mom sent me out for groceries with her card all the time and never had problems as long as you had the PIN #.
