Blind Items Revealed #4 - Mr. X

May 26, 2017

The war continues between this now solo singer and her former group. They release photos of the band without her and she leaves their record label to head off on her own. Even though the group enjoyed its biggest success with her, no one likes working with her. Her last three singles bombed and with the demands she is placing on her new label they will probably lose a ton of money on her full length album. Meanwhile, the original members of the group are still trying to land the singer turned beard for hire.

Fergie/Black Eyed Peas/Nicole Scherzinger

Well as of yesterday Fergie is no longer part of the Black Eyed Peas.

Nicole is a much more powerful singer than Fergie, that is a good look for BEP

  3. Nicole Sscher-whatever can sing circles around Fergie. She may be the single most talented pro beard ever.

That's why I still trust Enty. He gets about 75% of things right. And the big mistakes he makes are publicists trying to catfish him. Or stars who are leak testing their staff with silly blinds to see who the snitches are.

Nicole S . should do it. She could have her own success without having to play pretend with a gay man! She's drop dead gorgeous and talented.

So all that MILF nonsense did not work??? I thought she got major traction with that song. And its difficult to imagine why they could fight. WIll.i.am did his solo stuff as well and he helped Fergie on her first solo album. But to be fair they dont really need a female singer on every track. They can have a guest on every track instead.

The bep suck, and they can hire the female version of Frank Sinatra, which Nicole is indeed not, that they will keep on sucking.

I'm with Kermit. BEP is not good. IMO, Nicole is actually too good for them. I wish she'd refocus on doing solo stuff. I love her voice.

    But the BEPs need Nicole.
    She doesn't need the BEPs.

I don't understand how someone as vocally talented and as absolutely beautiful as Nicole does not have a solid, solo singing career.
She should just class it up and sing adult music.
I think the problem is she plays down her awesomeness by making shitty music.
In a way I feel she is a victim of the shitty music industry.
Very sad, she should be huge.

Nicole doesn't have a singing gig and her solo records don't sell well, either. Nicole needs them just as much as they need her. I bought Elephunk when it was first released. I could listen to it without skipping most of the songs. There were a couple I didn't like, but the rest were good. I thought so anyway. Maybe they can make lightning hit again with Nicole. Beggars can't be choosers.

She needs them just as much as they need her:
    Her singles that charted:

Six years is a long time without a hit.

  15. Yeah but Fergie had a certain swagger. Where you could see her fitting in with group and being a vixen. Nicole is pretty and yes she has a great voice, but she is as interesting as mashed peas.

BEP was very good when they started out. Their first album was great, but then they got Fergie and sold out. Now they're trash.

Indeed, that first album was grittier and more real. Loved it. Once they got Fergie, they just became another commercial sell-out bubble gum group.
