This A- list mostly television actress is lucky to have a fallback gig after she has blown through one bad series after another. The thing is though she thinks she is A+ list and, despite the full smiles at press events, the two supporting players in the reboot hate her guts. She makes them feel like she tossed them a bone by having them back when it wasn’t even up to her.

Jack and Karen make Will & Grace. I'd watch a show with just them in it.

ReplyDeleteShe is intolerable. I also hate her political rants made only keep her relevant. Just can't stand her.
ReplyDeleteI always noticed in the later seasons how few scenes she had with Will. I got the sense he hated her guts.
ReplyDeleteThe only time Messing scenes were tolerable in Will & Grace were when she dated Woody Harrelson and Harry Connick Jr. -- Heck. The two actors who played Harry Connick Jr.'s parents on Will & Grace were more entertaining than she ever was on the show.
ReplyDeleteThe irony is, I think the celebs with real political opinions probably keep to themselves and you never hear from them. Because well-thought opinions (not the Pollyanna/Kumbaya solutions to life's problems) are often unpopular opinions.
ReplyDeleteYou'd get a better response saying something vague/artsy like tweeting that hippie quote, "just because you're paranoid doesn't mean the government isn't watching" than flat-out bluntly saying, "people need to chill about state surveillance." LOL.
The folks at "Downton Abbey" must really like the actress who plays Cousin Violet, then... That girl gets ALLLLL the gold.

ReplyDeleteThe powers that be dropped the ball when W&G ended by not giving Jack & Karen their own spin offs..they were the best part of the show..
ReplyDeletei realized she was bat shit crazy and bitter when her social media posts started making the tabloids. The rest of the cast are wonderful. Can't wait to see Karen and Jack again. They were the true stars of the show. And Karen's maid...hilarious!
