You're probably aware of however-many cancer centers he's funded, including one at Jefferson in Philadelphia. In the 90s, Rena & Sidney had an unpleasant parting of the ways. A philanthropist in her own right, Rena decided to fund The Rena Rowan Breast Center at the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine at PENN, an historic rival of Jefferson, where Sidney's (far larger/fancier/more prestigious) cancer center is. Rena's dead, Sidney's still alive. Entirely too much info, but Philadelphia was all over their Billionaire Feud at the time. It got really petty once in a while, with one of them showing up dressed in an enemy designer's stuff at some chi-chi charity function or another. More fun to watch than BlacRob.
