Now that its public, the thrill is gone. The only question is whether Jen is going to clean up the mess again. I don't think Ben is mentally or physically able to deal with this.
Also, I don't see Jen cleaning up the mess. I think she's the source who keeps delivering the bad news - i.e. this was an ongoing affair for years and she confronted Lindsay in NY and warned her (to no avail) to back off.
OKay - Guesser is referring to the fact that Ben can be messy when it comes to his image and the publicity surrounding him, but Garner is more buttoned up and knows how to manipulate the situation (press) to her advantage. She has been known to help Ben tidy up his image at times (i.e. Sticking by him when he announced his rehab stay at the end of last year), but has also supposedly been the source when negative stories come out (gambling, boozing, etc). Lainey at Laineygossip did a deep dive on this whole dynamic yesterday.
I didn't even know about Lainey's comments until I saw the responses! It's all coming out now,Lainey actually called him out about his drug use years ago,I think he was messed up right in front of her or one of her spies.Jen should just do the looking good is the best revenge route, time to stop looking like a used dishrag.
