Kudos to her for trying, but this B+ list mostly movie actress who seemingly only works in a franchise does not have much leverage in her fight. Producers of the franchise would cut her loose in a second if she rocks the boat too much. They feel like they have bent over backwards for her over the years.

Her leverage is her speaking out. The francise makes $$$'s thanks in part to it's diverse casting. Adding a few more females makes sense financially.
