This celebrity offspring you probably didn't even know existed is shaking down his half sibling who is someone you do know exists and is the offspring of a permanent A+ lister by trashing them on social media until they cough up money.
This is another good guess, but like Priscilla Presley/Lisa Marie scenario I mentioned above, I find it hard to believe John Aniston doesn't have any money to dole out.
I believe that Tom Cruise's house of worship, the church of Scientology, may figure into this. Priscilla raised Lisa and Navarone in Scientology but although Lisa's out, Navarone may still be in it.
