A big war right now between this A list mostly movie actress who is an Academy Award winner and her people. They want her to sign on for a franchise and have been leaking to the press that she will, but our actress hates the character as it is written right now and thinks it will ruin any chance at another Oscar.

I really don't understand how anyone could consider her for this part, especially Mattel. Doesn't everyone dislike her now? She is not at all a fun, happy person or a believable blonde. My daughter loves the Life in a Dreamhouse Barbie show and it's surprisingly funny, which I don't see her as.

ReplyDeleteThey want a big payday. She's doing a few pics a year, and they want her to get a franchise that will pay her millions (with them getting a healthy cut). She doesn't need to work constantly, and her "people" who work on commission don't like where that is going.
