Blind Items Revealed #4

February 7, 2017

On the red carpet, this former A+ list mostly movie actor who is a multiple Oscar nominee/winner was smiling, but his cranky old self came out when he was mainly ignored at an event honoring his success in film this year. Just a nasty guy.

Mel Gibson

If he's being honored at an event, exactly how do you ignore him? You'd think the people who showed up wanted to be there to honor him, or else why bother going? Is the free food and drinks that good?

Meh, maybe he's pissed off about all the hypocrisy. As nasty as he has been he's certainly not the only one in Hollywood who harbors major personality issues, just the one who vomitted them out on video while in a state of drunkeness. If you're at an event to honor somebody's work maybe you shouldn't be a dick and ignore the honoree.

Mel is a no doubt a horrible person but ignoring someone is a form of bullying. The people doing that were no better than he is.

My guess is with all the kissing ass one has to do in Hollywood, some people would show up to mingle with some higher ups, regardless of the occasion.

Ive met Mel and hes a nice enough guy. The way hollywood has decided to snub him is typical of a shitty industry full of people so worried about seeming to be PC and fitting into the 'cool clique' that they create a fascist state where anyone with a dissenting opinion is metaphorically castrated and thrown to the wolves. To ignore someone at a dinner honoring that person smacks of petty bullying tactics and Mel was probably entitled to tell them what he thought of them.

  10. Are you kidding me? NOT talking to someone is bullying now? Your mother never taught you "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all"?

Still better than Woody "stepdaughter lover" Allen and his outdated neurotic New York intellectual/ older man dating a women that could be his daughter cliche.
