Blind Item #4 - Back In The Day

Not that many decades ago was this A+ list group that still exists today and is touring and even making news. The lead singer is long gone but the band has never been even close to what it was without him. He hated his band mates so much that he chartered a plane to get between each tour stop not just when the rest of the band was in a bus, but even if they were also taking a plane.

I saw Journey inducted to the rnr hall of fame. Perry looked healthy and happy. The other guys though happy looking, looked all used up and dried out. So if you aren't into the party all night, take drugs and drink to excess thing every night, it would make sense why you would have to travel separately just to keep yourself sane. Living with those kind of people is too much for us slower, more calm types.

if this is freddie mecury and queen, then it is SUPER messed up bc right now they are filming a movie and of course, freddie character (rami malek) will be the main pull. with freddie, queen is nothing. that pisses bryan may off.

Howard Stern had said many years ago that Perry was th biggest jerk he had ever interviewed. Something is up with that guy. I like the new singer and it does not matter to me who the lead singer is. Neal looks like he had a rough life and now that he is married to what's her name, kind of lost that spark for him.

  14. Gee could Steve Perry be reciprocating
Howard being a total jerk to HIM?

Definitely. It was said in their Behind The Music episode that that he traveled separately in the later years.

That said, he has explained his distance between the other band members as feeling like he didn't belong. Journey was a band before he came on board and they had been together for years. He always felt like an "outsider" despite being a large part of their success.

Eagles - A+ band, touring at the moment
    - making news because of Deacon Frey - Glenn Frey's son - taking his father's place
    - Lead singer long gone - Glenn Frey died in January 2016
    - His long-standing feud with Don Henley, why he traveled separately. (This would also piss off Don Henley, as he is super environmentally conscious).
