Blind Items Revealed #2

September 5, 2017

He is already an a-hole director who thinks he is the greatest director who ever lived. So, when the feedback from a screening of his latest film was awful, he of course blamed the people who saw the movie and said they were stupid and didn’t know a good movie. Just a long rant and his A list actress girlfriend was right there to witness it.

Darren Aronofsky/Mother/Jennifer Lawrence

Poor JLaw. What kind of daddy issues must she have to get into these relationships with asshole directors? I hope she gets her life together.

Her issues sling well beyond her daddy.

The name of the film is "Mother!" Punctuation is important to pompous svengali auteurs.

So is this some crappy remake, or "re-imagining" of Rosemary's Baby?

Ive read what happens, spoilers and all. It actually sounds pretty brilliant. Also, I cant stand Aronovsky but the film it seems kind of roasts HIMSELF. like, an artist that just uses the partners that love him for artistic inspiration but completely disregard their well being just for his art. Some ppl noticed its kind of a confessional, like him being like, this is what IVe done, and boy has it been shitty. but then, you think about the arrogance of it. so its sort of a contradiction.

etiher way, there is one scene where....well lets just say, its towards the end and it is brutal, graphic and......a LOT OF PEOPLE WILL NOT LIKE IT. its one of those things where you go...omg...did they actually just allowthat to happen?

its one of those movies that seems like you either despise it, or think its a masterpiece. dont know why he got all huffy, venice often can be divided for films that end up doing well. tho the early september release date makes me think...this wont be an awards contender. it was originally supposed to be released during awards season

On the other hand, "Mother," with Albert Brooks and Debbie Reynolds, was hilarious and I highly recommend it!

  12. When we saw the trailer I said it reminds me of Rosemary's Baby (which I watched again a few months ago and it's still a great movie!)
