The widow is trying to sell a documentary. It is the reason you see her going to places she has not been before. The pitch is for multiple parts. She went to the lead singer of a group who used to be in that Seattle band in a different role. He does a lot of producing but wants no connection to anything she does. He has enough trouble in his life with "grieving" widows.

What is the theme of your documentary, Vicki K - How To Kill A Rock Star And Take His Money ? If she can't get Dave Grohl, Pearl Jam, or most importantly Soundgarden to play along with her, she is selling a big pile of crap.
