Blind Item #3

This A list mostly movie actress who is a multiple Oscar nominee but not winner and is set to join a franchise in its next installment, is looking less likely to stay with the franchise. The studio thinks she is speaking out too much about all the men in Hollywood preying on women and want her to be quiet. Somehow, I don't think she is going to stop talking, but she will be stuck in indie hell for a few years.

  5. Agree with Chastain. She has 2 nominations on her resume. Adams is already part of a franchise.

  6. Should be interesting being that BS is one of the producers of XMen. Think she’ll speak out for children as well??

  7. Jessica Chastain. Good for her. If you're prepared to actually burn bridges over this stuff, it means you're genuine.

  8. I wish older women actresses would speak out and name names. They have already had their careers and are in power positions with lots of knowledge about who the dirtbags are. They don't need money to work again or more star credits if they get shunned. They would be doing a huge service to the community and help future generations stop this. Even though they might say they don't know, they do.

I mention women speaking out because I think men protect other men and really good guys genuinely don't know because the pervs don't tell the good ones about their crap behavior.

There is no way Meryl Streep, Shirley Mclaine (however she spells it), Jane Fonda, Sissy Spacek, Susan Sarandon or even younger ones like Julia Roberts don't know who the bad guys are.

  9. Jessica Chastain already called out Bryan Singer/pedos via Twitter a week or two ago. The child rapist pedos are protected, the women rapists/harassers not so much.

  10. I can't believe Amy Adams, Laura Linney, Joan Allen, Michelle Pfeiffer and Sigourney Weaver don't have Oscars. What a shame!

  11. I wish it was Amy Adams, so she could be pressured into doing some indy nude scenes.

That X-Men movie will be the first thing I'll see Chastain in, so I won't miss her.

I'd venture a bet that at least half of them have done sexual favours for parts. This being the reason they don't speak out.

  13. Could it be Cate Blanchett?

  14. I agree with Monteverde. Also, if they admit they knew all along about sexual harassment and worse, won't they be asked why they didn't do anything about it? Given their star power and all.

Easier to do a Meryl and suggest you knew nothing. I see she's out today with traumatic stories to make herself look like a victim too.

  15. +1 Dog Mom - that crap miss thang put out today about being beaten? In so sorry that happened but she is tone deaf and making it about her struggles!? Hello, we all know you sucked some cock to get where you are lady.

  16. I really hope they don’t black ball her. She’s a great actress & I think it’s anazibg that she’s actually speaking out! So many more established actresses are remaining quiet which speaks volumes.

  17. I wish these women who have done sexual favours under duress had bitten off their bits, would have saved a lot of grief for other women.

  18. it'll be pretty obvious if they blackball her, considering she's one of the most talented actresses right now out there.

    Jessica Chastain

  19. Can't be Blanchett - the blind says "multiple Oscar nominee but not winner" and Cate has won twice.

    Agree with the Chastain guess.

  20. If Meryl can stand up for Roman Polanski and go off on Trump, don’t start being a coward now...She is an amazing actress, but I lost respect for her when she gushed about Polanski and was happy that Trump won because of how upset it made her (i wasn’t a fan of either scumbag)...how she can deny knowing anything about HW?!? I am sure some young actress confided in her @ some point. Her acting skills are not that good these days as we can all see right thru her, but on screen, she is still so amazing. I can see SM saying something, because she is so outspoken, but she has WB for a brother, and who knows what he and his buddy Jack have done, so she may stay quiet because of that. Fonda - if she misses her “happy” pill, I can see her totally going off. She surely stood up to Megan Kelly...Julia is known to be heartless, so why would she be nice now?!? She is one I always wondered about in how the heck did she get certain roles, but I loved her in others...

  21. Chastain -- the tweet she did about Singer, who's got a producer credit on Dark Phoenix.
