A blogger wrote an article about swift being so image conscious that she wont publicly comment on it for fear of pissing off her conservative fans, and swift sued the blogger for defamation in what has been described as a very tenuous legal argument.

Phelps, I think I tend to agree with you. Based on my experience with people who fall further to either side of the political spectrum than I do, I guess I have to say that the only times I've ever had a discussion with another person who I could tell thought I was stupid, born yesterday, etc. has been with extreme lefties. Right wingers, on the other hand, just seem to like to tell me why I am poor or lazy. lol. Either way, I don't think I really fit in one camp or the other.

People need to leave Taylor Swift alone, she has the right not to discuss her politics just like anyone else. It is the smartest move for her as an entertainer and she has nothing to gain by getting in that arena.
