It took forever to finally get rid of Danny Masterson and now, another serial groper/assaulter is being pressured by the same forces to keep his job. He was all but gone, but apparently the group knows where to apply pressure and the A-/B+ list mostly television actor from multiple almost television shows will continue working.

ReplyDeleteTambor has very distant ties to Scientology, but apparently nothing current. But he's on both Arrested Development and Transparent, multiple almost-TV shows, AND just stuck his foot back in the door on Transparent, so I'm guessing it's him.

ReplyDeleteWhoever this is, Masterson is alleged to be a serial rapist, not groper. A groper can eventually redeem themselves, a rapist needed to be in jail.

I think Jeffrey Tambor's 40 plus year career has more value than "almost television shows".

ReplyDeleteI had loved the Threes Company episode Tambor did where he played a psychiatrist. When the allegations came out about him I deleted it from my DVR. I would love to hear what Joyce DeWitt and the woman who played Terri on there have to say about him...interesting that neither of them have said anything to defend him.
Tambor fits-BTW the Transparent showrunner Jill Soloway I find tremendously annoying and she seems like a really sketchy character herself (leaving her husband and children during the show etc.). I could see CoS having some serious dirt on her or other folks connected to the show that gives them big leverage.
